4 cup cooked rice
2-3 spring onions
2 medium sized carrots
8-10 french beans
6-7 tbsp oil
1 tbsp soya sauce
½ tsp ajinomoto

Method for cooking rice
- For preparing fried rice, cook rice at least 2 hrs in advance.
- Cook rice in plenty of water. (Avoid using Basmati rice) Add ½ tsp of salt and sesame oil while cooking rice. This will enable the grain to separate, cook well and add unique flavor to the dish.
- Drain excess water, when rice is cooked.
- Spread cooked rice on a large tray for at least 30 minutes, so that grains do not stick to each other.
- Add soya sauce to the cooked rice and keep it aside.
- Heat oil in a wok or fry pan, sauté spring onions, carrot, beans for 1-2 minutes.
- Add rice, ajinomoto, salt and mix well.
- Garnish with chopped spring onions.
